From: FlashHerm@aol.com Message-Id: <9407271942.tn259926@aol.com> Date: Wed, 27 Jul 94 19:42:25 EDT Subject: Conan; Tour Dates; Promo CMF CD Tom Jack (taj@cup.hp.com) and all, Nope. Conan wasn't a repeat. John's in the northeast with Jackson right now. In fact, since I've been meaning to post this anyway, here are the revised tour dates, as printed in the "gatefold" (or is that an outdated LP term?) for the "Cross My Fingers" promo CD single. (I'm including the whole schedule, rather than only future dates, for all you archivists out there.) All dates with Jackson Browne: 7/19 Charlotte, NC 7/21 Columbia, MD (More on this one in a message to follow.) 7/22 Philadelphia, PA 7/23 Boston, MA 7/25 Holmdel, NJ 7/27 Saratoga Springs, NY 7/28 Wantaugh, NY 7/29 Essex Junction, VT 7/31 Rochester, NY 8/01 Pittsburgh, PA 8/02 Scranton, PA 8/04 Cleveland, OH 8/05 Detroit, MI 8/06 Cincinnati, OH 8/08 Louisville, KY 8/09 Indianapolis, IN 8/10 Chicago, IL 8/12 Lincoln, NE 8/13 Kansas City, KS 8/14 Memphis, TN 8/16 Nashville, TN 8/17 Birmingham, AL 8/19 Dallas, TX 8/20 Houston, TX 8/22 Denver, CO 8/23 Salt Lake City, UT 8/25 Reno, NV 8/26 Concord, CA 8/27 Laguna Hills, CA 8/29 Phoenix, AZ 8/30 San Diego, CA 8/31 Los Angeles, CA 9/02 Portland, OR 9/03 Seattle, WA 9/04 Seattle, WA again While I'm at it, here's the deal on this promo CD single. It's a picture CD, with a hand with crossed fingers on it. It's got "Cross My Fingers" (LP version, 4:01), "True Believer" from the Paramount motion picture "Milk Money" (5:37; a cool, rockin' little tune; reminds me of "Tennessee Plates") and "Cross My Fingers" (live version recorded 10/93 at The Forum in London, 4:19). It says "Milk Money" is "coming soon to a theater near you." Does anybody know what it's about? I'll ask this again in a message to come, but are any of you interested in a Jackson Browne mailing list? I'm almost positive that there is no such thing right now, and I can't start one myself, but I'd be very interested in helping somebody else get one up and running. It's been great to see the Jackson-related posts on Shot-of-Rhythm, but Jackson needs a list of his own. Please e-mail me with your thoughts on this. See ya later, Lisa (FlashHerm@aol.com)
